Uwe Boll Presents…
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Pardon my attempt at humor. It was in poor taste. I could not resist. You can breathe easy, it’s not a Uwe Boll film. In fact, in an MTV article Boll talked about the time he tried to get the movie rights for World of Warcraft:
“I got in contact with Paul Sams of Blizzard, and he said, ‘We will not sell the movie rights, not to you…especially not to you. Because it’s such a big online game success, maybe a bad movie would destroy that ongoing income, what the company has with it.”
I’m sure that’s quite a relief to most Warcraft fans, and as you may already know plans for the movie have been in the works for a while now, and it will be told from an Alliance perspective. Blizzard has recently issued an announcement saying that Sam Raimi, director of the recent Spiderman movies, will be directing the movie.
